From semi-arid grasslands of the Rocky Mountain Trench to glacier-clad peaks of the Continental Divide, Kootenay National Park represents a diversity of landscapes, elevation, climate and ecology.

The Friends of Kootenay National Park hope to capture this diversity and share it with you through their blog of short notes and photos about the natural and human history of Kootenay National Park. Plus stories about park research and the Friends of Kootenay National Park activities.
